New teacher Q&A – Miss. Eleanor Haydock

Marian Alum and teaches algebra in room 210

Q. What advice would you give students who want to become teachers?

A. The first thing I’d do is try out different volunteer or job opportunities where you get to work with groups of kids/students. You can figure out what age group you work with best or fit in with most

Q. What made you want to become a teacher?

A. I always wanted to be a teacher, but I think it’s because I’m a very curious person and always loved learning. I tutored math when I was in high school and I also did a cadet teaching class. I loved them both and knew it was for me!

Q. What’s your favorite movie?

A.This is so hard, I can’t pick! I do love a good romantic comedy with my friends though

Q. What’s your favorite food?

A. Currently, my brother’s pesto pasta recipe

Q. What are some things that are different in Roncalli and the high school you went to?

A. I didn’t wear uniforms at my high school, but Roncalli makes me wish I did! I also love that Roncalli goes all out for dress days! It’s also awesome to pray at school with everyone because I didn’t have that growing up.
