New Science teacher’s experience at Roncalli
Science Teacher Mr. Greg Jansen has thoroughly enjoyed his first quarter of teaching at Roncalli.
Attending and teaching at Center Grove schools, Jansen knew God wanted him to teach at a Catholic school, furthering his faith journey.
“Though I taught at Center Grove, I felt God was leading me to teach at Roncalli.”
Outside of teaching, Jansen enjoys many hobbies with his family.
“I coach golf at Center Grove for my daughters and enjoy playing sports outdoors. I also do some woodworking outside of the classroom.”
Teaching science, for Jansen, involves his faith greatly.
“Admiring the beauty God has hidden within science and seeing how God made the world has led me to teach science.”
The positive energy of Jansen’s students allows for an enjoyable school environment.
“I enjoy the energies of all my students and having a fun class environment.”
Overall, Jansen appreciates the religious component of Roncalli High School.
“Incorporating faith into my daily life at school has deepened my understanding of Christ.”
