Wrestlers come out of the state tournament on top

Going into the state tournament, Coach Wade McClurg knew it would be a tough road ahead. “Our state is extremely difficult to win because it is a grueling four-week single-class tournament series with no wrestlebacks,” said McClurg. Do bowlers always have time to spare? Not at Roncalli High School, where the stellar bowling teams grind day and night to strike back at their competition. Practicing Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the expo bowl, Roncalli’s team is well suited to compete with other schools’ bowling masters.
