For three days, seniors departed from their daily routines to reconnect with their faith during the highly anticipated last senior retreat. The retreat, a long-standing tradition, provided students with an opportunity to reflect, grow spiritually, and strengthen their bonds with one another.
Held at Camp Allendale, the retreat featured a mix of personal reflection, small group discussions, and powerful testimonies. Students participated in prayer services, guided meditations, and activities designed to help them deepen their relationship with God. Many seniors described the experience as meaningful and transformative.
“By the end of retreat, I felt like a new person that had gotten closer to God in just those three days,” shared Rosanne Mora.
The retreat also provided time for students to build stronger relationships with their classmates. Through shared experiences and moments of reflection, they were able to support and encourage one another in their faith journeys.
“It has definitely opened my eyes up to different people and has made my view of people change in a good way,” said Paola Mariscal-Silva.
Whether through heartfelt conversations or shared prayers, many students walked away with a deeper appreciation for those around them.
For Nathalia Sanchez, the retreat was nothing short of eventful.
“I thought it was such a fun experience, and each day there was something new to look forward to,” Sanchez said.
As the class of 2025 approaches graduation, the senior retreat remains a defining moment of their final year, reminding them of the importance of faith and community as they prepare for the future.
