Saturday, January 27th, former MLB pitcher Craig Stammen who played for the San Diego Padres as well as the Washington Nationals will be coming to Roncalli to talk about what it takes to be a student-athlete along with his rise to the majors. Tony Vittorio hopes his players will be inspired by Stammen and learn ‘The core values that it takes to be a well-rounded person.”

With the start of a new season, Roncalli is headed in the right direction. Former D1 coach Tony Vittorio will begin as the new coach for the 2024 season. Vittorio has over 25 years of experience within the college ranks, including colleges such as Wilmington, his most recent, and The University of Dayton.

“The opportunity to work with players to become the best they possibly could be in the classroom, community, and on the baseball field was what God put me on this earth to do,” said Vittorio.
